Why do Koreans have such pale white skin?

In addition to all the skincare that the Koreans follow, there are certain things that the Koreans are blessed with for such a skin and follow certain cultural norms that helps them attain such flawless pale skin.

Let us about about all those factors below:

1. The Koreans live in high altitude

Korea is generally considered to be cooler than most parts of the world and a good number of the Korean population live in the hills. The climate out there is cold and cold climate is a leading factor behind their white skin.

2. The Koreans stay away from the sun as much as possible

Sun exposure is the worst thing you can do for your skin and the first thing that comes with UV exposure is tanning. The Koreans are very aware of the effect of the UV rays and they try to keep themselves away from the Sun as much as possible.

3. The Koreans wear hat whenever they step out in the Sun

Koreans wear hat to protect their face from the sun

Even if they have to step out in the Sun, they always and I say always wear hats to protect their face from the sun rays.

4. The Koreans wear hand gloves whenever they are in the Sun

Besides protecting their face, the Koreans do not leave their arms to get tanned in the Sun, they wear full arm covered gloves to maintain their pale white skin.

5. They Koreans never wear body exposing clothes

Thanks to Korean culture, body exposure is never considered in fashion and the less they expose their body, the more elegant and graceful they are considered by third culture.

They actually follow the British dressing customs. And least body exposure means least sun exposure and hence a step towards white skin.
